ABOUT THE ROLE

Flank steaks from the USA, chicken from Ukraine, picanha from Uruguay. Just a small selection of our wonderful products; and how do they get here? That’s handled by our Customs, Import and Export department.As an import/export officer, you’ll be responsible for the administrative processes involved in import and export. The CIE team (Customs, Import and Export) consists of a close-knit and informal team of nine people. Within this department, it really is ‘one team, one task’. We work hard to ensure that the entire CIE process runs as smoothly as possible.
This department is ‘the gateway’ to our international trade.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Together with your team, you will manage the administrative processes relating to the import and export of our products;

  • You will liaise with various (international) suppliers and parties, such as shipping lines, regarding our sea freight;

  • You will share responsibility for the suppliers in your portfolio, from order placement to receipt of goods, ensuring that all records are accurate and complete, from order placement to invoicing;

  • You will maintain an overview and act as a point of contact for other departments regarding the status of incoming and outgoing goods.

  • A gross basic salary of between €3,500 and €4,500 per month (based on knowledge, skills, age and qualifications);

  • 24 days’ annual leave per year and 8% holiday pay;

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • You have an MBO+ level of working and thinking;

  • You have gained experience or knowledge of import and export processes and documentation, for example within a logistics environment or a trading organisation;

  • You are fluent in Dutch or English;

  • You are accurate and have strong administrative skills; you’re not daunted by a pile of paperwork;

  • You have good interpersonal skills; you communicate clearly and concisely and switch seamlessly between different conversation partners and languages.

FIRST INTERVIEW
