About Diviande

Diviande, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Jan Zandbergen Group, is a manufacturer with over 30 years’ experience in high-quality protein. Diviande has proud roots in the meat industry and has long specialised in portioning, vacuum-packing, developing and freezing protein products for both the European B2B (foodservice and retail) and B2C markets. Diviande is at the forefront of innovation, convenience, quality and taste. With this in mind, the Jan Zandbergen Group and Diviande joined forces in 2018 with the aim of contributing to the sustainable eating habits of tomorrow. This has resulted in new brands such as the development of the fully plant-based meat alternative PLNT, as well as our online shop, The Meatlovers, where consumers can have top-quality meat delivered straight to their door. Our production facility on Antennestraat in Veenendaal has been operational since February 2018. Our premises cover a floor area of almost 8,000 m² and are equipped with various production areas for, amongst other things, high-care, convenience, and cold stores and freezer rooms. Naturally, this site is fitted with the most modern and sustainable solutions, minimising the impact on nature and the environment, and ensuring we are ready for the future.

About the role

At Diviande, the warehouse is a hive of activity: lorries come and go, raw materials are delivered, and fresh produce is dispatched daily to our customers across Europe.

Food safety and quality are always our top priorities. As a logistics assistant, you play a key role: you ensure that everything runs smoothly and that every order leaves our warehouse on time and in top condition. No two days are the same, and that’s exactly what makes your job so enjoyable!

What will you be doing?

Processing orders and preparing products for dispatch.
Picking products, weighing them accurately, and loading and unloading goods.
Checking packaging, labels and use-by dates to ensure customers always receive fresh products.
Maintaining a tidy and safe workplace.

Working hours
You will be working an early shift from 07:00/08:00 to 16:00/17:00.

Who are we looking for?

Ideally, you will have experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
You are happy to work in a refrigerated environment and with animal products.
You are meticulous and ensure that orders and checks are always correct.
You switch easily between different tasks and enjoy contributing ideas for improvements.
You are keen to learn and want to develop your skills further.
You are flexible in terms of working hours.

What do we offer you?

Salary between €2,500 and €3,000 based on a full-time working week, plus an irregular hours allowance, overtime allowance and 8% holiday pay.
A one-year contract, with the intention of offering a permanent position within our company. You will be part of a close-knit, diverse team, where ‘one team, one task’ is the motto.

SUBSTANTIVE RESPONSE

FIRST INTERVIEW

INTRODUCTION DAY

We choose the long term; so we often think it is wise for you to spend a (half) day shadowing the department. This gives you the opportunity to get a good, realistic picture of the position, and to talk to your future colleagues about how they experience their job.
